Article VI. Insurance of the Cobblestone Ridges covenants list detailed specifications as to the types and amounts of insurance coverage to be acquired for the Association. Section 8 requires “All insurance policies carried by the Association shall be reviewed at least annually by the Board to ascertain that the coverage provided by such policies adequately covers those risks insured by the Association.”
In compliance with this requirement, an insurance review was conducted December 2005 by Attorney, Bruce Phillips. Mr. Phillips compared both the requirements specified in the Association covenants and State law. Fidelity coverage requirements (coverage for dishonest employees) were found to be deficient. The Association’s provider was contacted and the required coverage was added to the policy.
